Covid-19 Updates
Moksha@Kitulgala Team recognize all the anxiety and stress caused by Covid-19. We at Moksha@Kitulgala feel it too. It is that shared belief in each other’s wellbeing and looking out for each other that guided our Covid-10 protocols / procedures / practices. It is that release from anxiety and stress that we offer – the very meaning of “Moksha”. Basic steps Our motto on Covid-19 is “we do not take anything harmful into the property, and we do not send anything harmful out of the property.” Please let us know, well before you arrive, information on you and others travelling with you, vehicle numbers and other details as per our reservation and data collection procedures. This will help us to get you to experience Moksha@Kitulgala fully – from the time you arrive to check-in to accommodation to meals to property to attractions to, departure and your repeat visits ….. (well, we can go on). The key is early information and planning. Identification, temperature checks, hand and footwear sanitization is mandatory every time you enter and leave the property. Public Spaces Outdoors / Front Office We are taking extreme precautions around our public spaces and high-traffic areas. You will see hand and foot sanitization protocols in all our public spaces & at front office. Please comply – it is for everyone’s good. As a part of the reservation procedure/check-in, guest information cards will be handed over to be filled. Please comply – it is for everyone’s good. All your luggage will be sanitised and tagged before sending into rooms. Social distancing, hand and foot sanitization, masks – yes, you will see that we take all of these seriously. Accommodation Room cleaning regime, in addition to our usually high standard cleaning process, will use medically recommended sanitizers / disinfectants. We don’t leave anything to chance. Restaurant/Bar We provide customized meals and drinks to suit your needs, of course healthy, tasty and complying to food safety standards! That requires preparation beforehand. Hence the reservation, kitchen and bar staff will ask you about your meal preferences, allergies, restrictions etc. The more information you can give our staff in advance, the better we can cater to your taste buds. General protocols Our Team will be using proper & appropriate personal protective equipment (PPEs) at all times. Only in-house guests will be allowed into the property. No walk-ins. We encourage you to bring your own pens etc. If not, that is ok- our implements will be sanitised after every use. As you can see, we take this global health crisis seriously, and take the responsibility of taking care of each other seriously – our valued guests, our Team, the community we operate in, country and the world. At the same time, everyone needs a safe bite of Moksha!
